2011: Hengameh Fouladvand is currently contributing several art entries to the Encyclopedia Iranica, including full-length entries on the lives and works of three prominent contemporary Iranian artists: Marcos Grigorian, Mansour Ghandriz, and Alireza Espahbod.

December 2-4 2011: Attending The Middle East Studies Association (MESA) 45th Annual Meeting. She will act as the Chair of two panels, Urbanism and Urbanization in the Middle East, and Popular Culture in the Contemporary Middle East.

November 2009: Hengameh Fouladvand acted as Chair and Presenter at Middle East Studies Association Session "Mysticism in the Modern World" (MESA 09 Annual Meeting, Boston, November 21-24) The title of her presentation will be: Mohammad Ehsai's Spiritual Expressions: An Exploration in Calligraphic Form and Content.
